Welcome to ACME Suites. We are located between Chicago and Milwaukee on a lovely pastoral campus steps away from the famous Midlane Golf Resort. We are within seven miles of Gurnee Mills Mall, Six Flags Great America, Great Lakes Naval Recruiting Center, Illinois State Beach Park, Lake Michigan, Waukegan Harbor, North Point Marina, Des Plaines River, Genesee Theater and Temple farms home of the Temple Lippizans. For your comfort we offer a heated indoor pool, hot tub, complimentary hot breakfast buffet, weekly Social Hour, free parking, free wireless internet connection throughout the hotel, premium cable channels including HBO Fitness Center, and Guest Coin Laundry Facility. Seasonally we have a patio with a grill and grilling equipment available and tennis courts.
Work does not have to be a chore with our free wireless internet connection throughout the hotel. We have a business center if you forgot your laptop at the office. You can create that presentation and print it right here. Need copies, no worries our friendly staff at the front desk can take care of that for you. We can even fax those critical documents that just have to get there now.
When you are done working enjoy a good soak in the hot tub or a relaxing swim. No need to sacrifice your exercise program using our fitness center. In the warmer months enjoy the many trails right outside our door, or play in our tennis courts. Stay the week end and enjoy 18 holes at the famous MIdlane Golf Resort.

While you are with us take some time and enjoy Lake Michigan. Our beautiful inland sea with a swim, or take fishing charter trip, or take a boat out from one of our nearby harbors. We are no more than seven miles from both Waukegan Harbor and North Point Marina. Enjoy the pristine Lake Front and hiking trails at the Illinois State Beach Park.
Enjoy a canoe trip on the Des Plaines River. If being in the water is not your thing enjoy a hike or bike ride along the beautiful Des Plaines River Basin. Enjoy some of the best winter scenery this side of the Lake Michigan with cross country skiing. Take in the sights and sounds in one of the largest Savannas in the US at the Waukegan Savanna.
We are no more than 10 miles from the Hinkston Park Field House or Pleasant Prairie Rec Plex facilities, perfect places for the fitness warrior. With their competition grade courts your team or friends will enjoy some of the best playing experiences. The Waukegan Sports Park less than five miles away lays claim to some of the finest soccer fields and baseball diamonds in Lake County. Even if you are not part of a team we are in the middle of several riding stables including the world famous Temple Lippizans Temple Farms with shows every Wednesday during the warmer months.

If you prefer a more premium shopping experience we are a short nine miles from Lakeside Prime Outlets in Pleasant Prairie with shops such as Polo, Nike, and Mikasa. We are seven miles from Six Flags Great America. The home of X Flight! One of America's finest theme parks offering thrilling rides, games, and shows the whole family will enjoy. After a day at Six Flags cool off at Rinkside in Gurnee Mills with arcade and games.
